The Research on Active Power Filter Based on DSP

With the development of science and technology ,the increasingly more uses of non-linear power-electronic equipments have brought serious pollutions into the electric network. They cause decline of the energy quality and damages of the users’benefits. The active power Filter can track and compensate the harmonics in the electric network dynamically, so wide attention has been attached to IT , and thus IT has become an effective tool of repressing the harmonics.This paper begins with the analysis of the definition , the producing and the harms of the harmonics, and introduces specific methods of repressing the harmonics. IT states the development situation of the active Filters in and abroad, analyzes the circuit’s top structure of different kinds of active Filters and stresses to introduce the function principle of the shunt active Filter. Detection of the harmonic signals is the basis of repressing harmonics .The paper gives a specific research on FFT harmonics detection and instantaneous reactive-power harmonics detection, deduces specific calculation formulas, and designs a two-stage Butterworth low-pass Filter by using the Filter Function of the TI Corporation. The producing of the instruction current signals is a key step of repressing harmonics. The paper focuses on the method of producing instruction current signals through using the SVPWM method and simulates it by the software MATLAB .As to the achievement of the active power Filter, this paper mainly uses the controller centered in DSP chip(TMS320LF2407A),and also gives hardware-testing and software-simulation of the outer circuit that deals with signals. Based on the designed controller, the paper achieves the two detecting methods that have been researched on the monitoring software and the DSP controller separately. To test the reliabity of the system designed in this paper, the paper carries on an enclosed simulation of the i d ? iq harmonic detecting method and the SVPWM control method, proving that the calculating method is proper and real-time.
